Best Books of 2015!

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! I'm Genni, and today I'll be showing you the best books I have read in 2015. I read quite a lot of books in 2015 (123!), which surpassed my goodreads goal on 100. With a total of 35,718 pages read, my average book was 290 pages long. I'm very pleased to say that I finished quite a lot of series, and only a few are showcased down below! While I did have my disappointments, 2015 was mainly a year of surprise. My average rating last year was 3.8 stars! Needless to say, I am really proud of myself and hope this year is just as good.

Here are some of my favorite books of 2015!

  1. Hey, Genni, great post! I also got to finish the Shatter Me trilogy on 2015, but sadly, I haven't read any of the others, but I'm pretty sure I have some of them on my tbr, like Unearthly, Cinder, An Ember in the Ashes, Illuminae, etc! Oh, and yes, I did a post like this so, feel free to pass around and check it out! :D

  2. I've only read The Lunar Chronicles and Angelfall out of your list but mostly I have the other books in my tbr. I've never heard of the Unearthly trilogy and Defiance trilogy but they do sound good. How do you feel about these two series?

    1. The Defiance trilogy and the Unearthly trilogy vary a lot. For the Defiance trilogy, I would say that it is more fun than hard hitting, especially for the first book, but gets a lot better with each book. While most series-Enders disappoint people, the last book (Deliverance) exceeded my expectations. It is mainly a dystopian novel that occurs in the future where most live under tyrannical rule and lack technology. The Unearthly series is one that I had no expectations of that I fell in love with! While the plot is very interesting (it's a book about angels), the characters are what really make the story special to me. I actually cried in every single one of the books in the series! There is a good mix of fun and sad.

      Hope this helped! :D
