Currently Reading: Rebel of the Sands, Clockwork Prince

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! I'm Genni and today I will be showing you guys what I have been reading this April!

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to read (or blog!) due to my hectic schedule. I am actually still reading Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton. I did not finish Feuds by Avery Hastings. I wasn't that far into it, and I just put it down because another book caught my eye. I will be planning on finishing it this month though!

Right now, I am around 65% done with Rebel of the Sands and hope to be done with it this week. I've been wanting to finish this for a while now, but I haven't had the time to just sit down and read for a couple of hours. The story really picked up and I just want to read it so badly!

The other book that I am (kind of) currently reading is Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. This is the second book in the Infernal Devices trilogy, and I hope have this read by the end of the week as well. I've been massively spoiled for the series, but I still want to see the how of it all. I just started this on my overdrive app, and I wish that I had a physical copy of it!

Both of these are fantasy novels, but different sub-genres. I've been loving my fantasy recently, but after I am done reading these two and Feuds by Avery Hastings, I think I will be going back to a quick contemporary read. I have my eyes on a couple of books on my shelf, and hopefully one will hold my attention!

So that is what I have been reading! I actually just finished reading Too Late by Colleen Hoover this weekend, and there will be a post about that soon. I am done with my reading slump mentally, but now I just have to find the time to actually read. :D

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!

Happy Reading!

  1. I'm glad you're enjoying Rebel of the Sands! It's so annoying when you're loving a book, yet can't find the time to read. The Infernal Devices is my all-time favourite trilogy, so I'm pleased you're reading them! It sucks that you've been spoiled though. The ending is so dramatic and heart breaking, so it's the worst that you're not being able to experience it for the first time for yourself!

    1. Thanks Denise! I'm looking forward to the end because I've heard really good things about it. :D When I heard about the ending I was so angry! And now that time has passed, I've heard more things about it too.

  2. Rebel of the Sands! I absolutely love that book, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. It's too bad Clockwork Prince was spoiled for you! But like you said, even if you already know what's going to happen, it's still worth a read :)

  3. I hope you finish those two! Really interested in what you'll have to say about Rebel in the Sand. Overdrive is a great app, though! :)

    1. Thanks Lauren! And I LOVE Overdrive. :D I think it's just weird for me to read anything by Cassandra Clare as an ebook because everything else I've read by her has been physical.

    1. I do too! I actually had to take a break from it just because I was so busy. But hopefully I will be able to get back to it after AP exams, SATs, and finals!
