Waiting on Wednesday #6

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! I'm Genni, and today I'll be participating in weekly meme Waiting on Wednesday. Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. Every week we highlight upcoming releases we are excited about!

This month I am participating in SciFi month, which is hosted by Rinn @ Rinn Reads and Lisa @ Over the Effing Rainbow! In order to tie that in, I am going to be showing everyone an upcoming science fiction read I'm looking forward to.

This week, I chose Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner!

There is little to know about Unearthed except that it's expected publication is sometime in 2017!

Here is the little blurb they have shared:
Jules Addison and Amelia Radcliffe join forces in a tomb-raiding race on a newly discovered planet to unravel the secrets of an ancient, long-extinct civilization — only to uncover a revelation that could spell the end of the human race.
Why I'm Waiting

I absolutely loved Kaufman and Spooner's Starbound series. I finished the trilogy January of this year and couldn't wait for the duo's next release. Their trilogy is one of my favorite YA trilogies out there, so I have extremely high hopes and anticipation for this one!  The whole tomb-raiding and ancient civilization spark my interest even more. And just in case you don't like the cover, don't worry. It's not the official one. ;D

What did you pick this week? Are you looking forward to Unearthed?

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!

Happy Reading!

    1. It slightly reminds me of Lara Croft but solely because it says "tomb raiding!" 😆

  4. I want to read this book too! I have enjoyed all five of Kaufman's books, and while I didn't quite love Spooner's debut trilogy, I LOVED the Starbound series. I hope you enjoy this book when you get a chance to read it, Gennifer!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fabulous week. =)

    1. I've never read Spooner's debut trilogy, only the books she's read with Kaifman! I'm really interested to see what their writing styles are like without a co-author.

      You're welcome! You too, Alyssa!
