For both visiting and following. I'll be sure to return the favor. :DGennifer Eccleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00649868338706328764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8414390875368071727.post-17139114081152463272017-01-10T01:10:32.029-05:002017-01-10T01:10:32.029-05:00I read Switched quite a while ago and somehow didn...I read Switched quite a while ago and somehow didn't like it much. The characters felt really flat to be but of late I've been planning to reread it and see if I like it now! It's good to hear there is a lot of improvement in book 2 character-wise and writing-wise. This definitely makes me feel I must reread the book and continue with the series! Great review :)

New follower!
Uma@Books.Bags.Burgers.Uma @Books.Bags.Burgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10112898986107572612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8414390875368071727.post-36309390162364464842017-01-08T23:21:40.590-05:002017-01-08T23:21:40.590-05:00I do the same thing! Does that make sense? ;D I did spoil myself for the romance in this one when I was skimming through the last book, and I am totally fine with it! That's so great to hear that her writing improves. I assumed as much just because her writing improved so well between the first and second book. :) I'll definitely be reading the Kanin Chronicles! I actually picked that up first and then realized I had to read this trilogy beforehand.

Thank you Alyssa! You as well. :)Gennifer Eccleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00649868338706328764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8414390875368071727.post-57262911912481930612017-01-08T16:27:42.577-05:002017-01-08T16:27:42.577-05:00I binge-read this series last year, thanks to the ...I binge-read this series last year, thanks to the publisher, and I actually really liked the books! I think, because I knew spoilers about the romance (sometimes I seek them out, especially when the series old), I was really happy with the romance. :D This was among the author's first books she wrote, and if you read the Kanin Chronicles, you can really see how the author's writing and craftsmanship improved. I liked the Trylle trilogy (again, I binge-read the series last year, so I'm not an "old" fan of Hocking), but not nearly as much as I liked the Kanin Chronicles!

Wonderful review, Genni! Have a lovely week. =)

Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!Alyssahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00128004483437247740noreply@blogger.com
