Top Ten Tuesday | Books I've Decided I'm No Longer Interested in Reading

Hey everyone and welcome back (or to!) my blog! I'm Genni, and today I'll be participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Until this 2018, The Broke and Bookish hosted the meme, so give them so love as well! :)

The topic of this week are books we are no longer interested in. I have a ton of these books. When I first joined goodreads, I basically just added any book that mildly piqued my interest to my to-read shelf. And now, it's a huge compilation of books I actually want to read, and others I haven't thought about it quite some time.

Without further ado, here are 10 books I have lost all interest in!

10) Captive by Ally Carter
Captive is a sequel to Pawn, which I read but didn't love. I never got to the sequel, and I haven't heard amazing things about the rest of the trilogy, so I've decided to pass on finishing the series.

9) Loop by Karen Akins
Loop got on my radar in my early years of goodreads. There were a ton of giveaways for this, but eventually my interest was lost. I just don't see myself reading this anytime soon.

8) Crewel by Gennifer Albin
To be honest, I have no idea what this book is about. I probably added this because 1, the book was on BookOutlet often; 2, the cover is interesting; and 3, the author spells her first name the same way I do.

7) Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
I wasn't that interested in this book in the first place, and just added it to goodreads because of all they hype. Now that the hype has died down, I realize that I wasn't genuinely interested in this.

6) Silent Echo by Elisa Freilich
I saw a couple reviews of this on youtube a whie back, and was interested for wuite some time. Now, I just have way too many books that intrigue me more. This doesn't sound bad by any means, but it doesn't sound like something i would love either.

5) Conspiracy of Blood and Smoke by Anne Blankman
I loved the first book in this series, but back in 2013 (or 2014?) when I read this, I was scared to read the sequel because I didn't want to be disappointed. I also thought that a sequel was unneeded. It's now 2018 and I've forgetten basically everything about the series.

4) Linked by Imogen Howson
Like Crewel, I have no idea what this book is about, but I sure did see it on BookOutlet a lot!

3) Fever by Lauren DeStefano
Fever is a sequel in a series (I forgot the name of the first book), and the first book just didn't impact me enough to continue with the series.

2) Salvage by Alexandra Duncan
I actually tried reading Salvage several times, and each time I stopped reading it. The writing just didn't connect with me, and I couldn't get on board.

1) The White Rose by Amy Ewing
The Whtie Rose is a sequel to The Jewel, which got a lot of attention when it was published. I enjoyed The Jewel, but I didn't care enough to conintue with the series.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!

Happy Reading!
