Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! I'm Genni, and today I'll be participating in the weekly meme Top 5 Wednesday. This meme is hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. Today's topic is are our top five most unlikable characters. This doesn't mean villains, it means unintentionally unlikable characters. This was pretty easy for me because I have a whole entire shelf on goodreads dedicated to annoying main characters. I'm pretty mean throughout this whole entire post, so I'm sorry if I offend anyone!
5.) Wendy Everly from Switched (Trylle #1)
Wendy actually isn't that bad, but she still grated on my nerves in the first installment on the Trylle series. I'm pretty sure I would have loved her if I read Switched three or four years ago. I just think that I was too mature for this book. I will be continuing on with the series though! 4.) Megan from Shadow of the Mark (Carrier #2)
Megan receives a lot of hate, and it is deserved. She has special snowflake syndrome and besides that, she literally has no personality whatsoever. The first book was okay, and then this second installment introduced a love triangle that made no sense. The third book is in limbo, but I'm not too upset that is doesn't seem like it's going to be published. 3.) Gia Montgomery from The Fill in Boyfriend
I dislike The Fill in Boyfriend so much. It just didn't work for me at all. I found Gia to be immature and I couldn't wrap my head around what she was thinking. So many people love this book, but I just couldn't like it. Hopefully I'll have better luck with Kasie West's other books. 2.) America Singer from The Selection
I'm sure this will make many people's lists. America Singer was pretty much the most indecisive, flip-floppy character I have met. Her decision skills were severely lacking. There were times when I wanted to throw The Elite into a wall. Unfortunately, Eadlyn wasn't that great either. 1.) Kelsey from The Tiger Saga
Kelsey was the worst ever. She is the classic teenage girl that doesn't have any self confidence but that all the guys like. I was fine with her in the first book (kinda). But then the series progressed and Kelsey just became worse. It's like the older she got, the more immature and indecisive she began. She just kept on stringing on the two love interests and her special snowflake-ness was the worst I've ever read.
