Waiting on Wednesday #14

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! This week I will be participating in Waiting on Wednesday. WoW is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. Every week we showcase upcoming releases that we are excited about. Tressa @ Wishful Endings has recently taken lead in this meme, considering Jill hasn't been posting on for a while. Learn more here!

This week I chose Seven Days of You by Cecilia Vinesse!

Here are some stats!
Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Romance
Pages: 336
Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers
Expected Publication Date: March 7, 2017
Sophia has seven days left in Tokyo before she moves back to the States. Seven days to say good-bye to the electric city, her wild best friend, and the boy she’s harbored a semi-secret crush on for years. Seven perfect days…until Jamie Foster-Collins moves back to Japan and ruins everything.

Jamie and Sophia have a history of heartbreak, and the last thing Sophia wants is for him to steal her leaving thunder with his stupid arriving thunder. Yet as the week counts down, the relationships she thought were stable begin to explode around her. And Jamie is the one who helps her pick up the pieces. Sophia is forced to admit she may have misjudged Jamie, but can their seven short days of Tokyo adventures end in anything but good-bye?

Why I'm Waiting

It's been so long since I've read a contemporary, and this sounds perfect! I love how this is marketed as a whirlwind romance, because I'm in the mood for it! I just got the arc of this book, and I'm going to read this quite soon. I love a good redemption story, and this romance seems right up my alley. Plus, the cover is pretty spectacular. I love it, and hopefully I will love the book as well.

Are you looking forward to Seven Days of You?

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!

Happy Reading!

    1. I would say give it a go! I'm actually halfway through right now, and I'm really enjoying it. However, it is a bit more angsty than I originally thought. :)

    1. So far, it is a solid four star read. It's not a favorite of mine, but definitely a strong contender in the YA contemporary market! :) Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I saw this one on NetGalley - it was available "Read Now" for 500 members, or something like that. This type of contemporary story isn't for me, so I passed on the opportunity. I hope you enjoy it if/when you read it, Genni!

    Have a fantastic weekend. =)

    1. Now that you say that, I do remember seeing an email from Netgalley about this. I can see why it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Thanks Alyssa!

I hope yours was fantastic as well!
