This month I read 13 books! I'm really proud of my number for this month. School started back in late August, but it is getting really intense right now, so I'm super happy with the number of books I have read!
1.) The Cell Phone Swap by Lindsey Summers

here! The novel follows Keeley, a high school girl and sister of the school's quarterback. She accidentally swaps phones with a stranger at the fair, and the story expands from there. My only complaint is that I enjoyed the first half of the novel so much more than the second. I found it to be getting a bit repetitive near the end, but I still liked it and gave the novel
3.5 Stars!
2.) Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins
Sweet Reckoning is the conclusion of the Sweet Evil trilogy. When I first started the trilogy, I was so torn. I gave the first novel 2 stars and the second 3.25 stars. However, with Sweet Reckoning I had such a better experience. Though I didn't love it, it was such a great conclusion and I can't wait to get my hands on Sweet Temptation. The conclusion was everything I wanted and was a solid
4 Star read.
3.) My Brother's Best Friend by KnightsRachel
My Brohter's Best Friend is also found on the Wattpad app as well. As I'm sure you can tell, My Brother's Best Friend is all about our main character, Emily, falling in love with her brother's best friend. The novel delves in to some really dark topics, but I could not connect with Emily that much and got bored with the unneccesary drama. You can know more about my thoughts

4.) In 27 Days by Ally Gervais
In 27 Days blew me away! The plot is nothing like I've read before as it follows Hadley,a girl who makes a deal with Death to try and save the life Archer Morales, who will commit suicide in 27 days. Not only was it unique, but I really loved all the subplots as well and easily connected with the characters. You can find a mini review of it

5.) Biggest Flirts by Jennifer Echols
Biggest Flirts was such a frustrating read for me! The main character, Tia, was so infuriating. She was such a self sabotaging character and it annoyed me so much. While Tia had her reasons, I just could not handle it. You can find a completely detailed full review

6.) Touch Me Not by Apryl Baker
Touch Me Not is a new adult novel that I found on Wattpad as well. The read was immersive and compelling, and I could not put it down! The novel is centered around Lily and the deal she makes with bad boy Nikoli to overcome her fear of physical touch. It was just recently published as an ebook and I couldn't be happier with the news! Touch Me Not was a great novel and I gave it

7.) Bon Bons to Yoga Pants by Katie Cross
Bon Bons to Yoga Pants was such an inspirational read and I am so happy to have read it. Though I didn't love it and had my problems, it was completely deserving of the

8.) The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
I had to read the Scarlet Letter for my English class at school. The writing style was really dry and drawn out, but I did like the novel for what it is. It's never going to be my favorite, but I did appreciate it. I gave this novel

9.) Them by Carey Heywood
Them is the final book in the Him & Her trilogy by Carey Heywood. I gave the novel
4 Stars. The series and this novel was not earth changing, but really fun to read. If you're looking for a quick and easy series to read, I definitely recommend picking up the novels.
10.) The Other Side of Someday by Carey Heywood
After reading Them, I wanted to read more of Carey Heywood's writing; I love her style! I wasn't blown away by this novel, but it was really cute. The characters weren't as likable as the ones in her trilogy I that I have read, but it was a solid read. The Other Side of Someday was fun and quick. Heywood is definitely an author that I will continue to read, and I never want to stop. I gave the novel

11.) Only For Him by Cristin Harber
Only For Him was a 'meh' kind of read. It was quick, but a bit boring and run of the mill for me. The characters weren't unique enough for me to really remember them. Harber has a much loved other series, so maybe one day I'll pick it up, but I don't feel the need to right now. Only For Him was a
2.25 Star read.
12.) Jesse's Girl by Miranda Kenneally

here! I loved the music aspect of the novel and would definitely recommend this to people who are passaionate about music or love reading young adult contemporaries. Kenneally has written many young adult novels and is known for her Hundred Oaks series. I gave this one
3.9 Stars!
13.) Freak of Nature by Julia Crane
Freak of Nature is the final book I read in the month of September. I initially heard about this novel from Benjaminoftomes over on youtube. I was immediately interested and once it was free on ibooks, I bought it. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I expected some amazing adventure and all I got was an insta-love story that didn't peak my interest until halfway through.

I had a pretty good reading month in September! Just like the previous months, there have been some that I was a bit disappointed by and others that blew me expectations away. I'm really proud I managed to read so much and I hope I can have around the same number of books read by the end of October as well!

I had the same experience with Pure as I did with the 48 Hour Hookup. However, I did like this more than the first. Once again, I just couldn't connect to the story. I like the characters, but they annoyed me more than I expected. I found the book a bit too predictable for me to fully enjoy it. I gave Pure 3 stars.
Losing It has a classic new adult plot. A girl meets a guy, but of course their romance is forbidden on some sort of level. Even though the plot isn't original, it was a fun read. The characters weren't as dynamic as I wanted though. I considered Losing It a sort of palette cleanser of the month.
The Crash trilogy has the most confusing names EVER. Crash is the first book, Clash the second, and Crush the third. The second novel was my favorite (3.75 stars) with Crash coming in second (3.5 stars) and the finale coming in third (3 stars). Unfortunately, I did not like the finale. Everything was going as I expected, and then there was this "solution" that was conventional and unnecessary. My least favorite thing about the series is that it is redundant. Every book follows the same exact plot. I wished that Williams would have changed it up a bit; I was able to predict everything right before it happened.
