Top Ten Tuesday | Books on my Spring TBR!

Hey everyone and welcome back (or to!) my blog! I'm Genni, and today I'll be participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Until this 2018, The Broke and Bookish hosted the meme!

The topic of this week are books that are on our spring TBR. If you don't know, I'm a huge mood reader. Because of that, I have a lot of books that I'm interested in, but not necessarily a set list. So these 10 books are what I'll hopefully read, but I won't be surprised if I don't get to them.

Without further ado, here are 10 books that I may read this spring!

1) Flashfall by Jenny Moyer
I've been wanting to read this for a while! I got this from a BookOutlet order for Christmas, and I hope to get around to it soon!

2) Banished by Kimberely Griffiths Little
I read Forbidden two years ago, and really liked it! After a very long time, I finally got my hands on the second book. I don't necessarily remember a lot from the first book, but hopefully there will be some recap in the beginning on the book.

3) Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi
I absolutely adored the Shatter Me series as it came out. My tastes became more critical as the years went by, but the series got better. I have high expectations for this one, and hopefully they will be met.

4) Save the Date by Morgan Matson
I mean...it's Morgan Matson! How can I not read this??

5) From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon
Sandhya Menon wrote When Dimple Met Rishi (a 2017 release), that I loved. So of course, I have to check this one out!

6) Lizzie by Dawn Ius
Lizzie is a take on the story of Lizzie Borden, who killed her parents. I've heard great thigns, and I'm about to download this from Netgalley.

7) Obsidio by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
I actually just bought this one last weekend! I don't think I'll be readin gthis until school gets out, but I am really looking forward to it!

8) Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
I'm a fan of Colleen Hoover. But, I also haven't read Colleen Hoover for almost a full year, and in that year I have really grown as a feminsit. I fully acknowledge her books are problematic, and I also think the cover for this one can be triggering. So I'm going to read this one and give it a shot, but I don't know if I'll be paying full price for her books again.

9) The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh
It's about time I read htis book. I mean, I loved The Wrath and the Dawn, I've met Renee several times, and she went to the college I attend! So really, there is no excuse.

10) Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman
I have been on the wait list for this one for quite some time. The day after I watched the movie, I requested this one. And I sit....and wait! So fingers crossed I get this before spring's end.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!

Happy Reading!

  2. I actually enjoyed The Rose and The Dagger even more than The Wrath and The Dawn! And I've never read Morgan Matson, but I love stories about weddings, so I'm looking forward to Save The Date!

  6. I am SO READY to read Restore Me!! I wanted to buy it as soon as it came out but I thought I'd restrain myself because I have to spend so much money on other books specifically for university and, supposedly, that's more important (I don't know who made these rules but they're ridiculous). As soon as my library gets a copy, though, I'm pouncing on it!
