The rules are simple for both. For the Friday 56, we turn to page 56 or 56% in our e-reader and highlight a passage of any book! Book Beginnings is where you feature the first sentence (or so) of a book and give your thoughts and impressions.
This weekend I'll be featuring Dating You Hating You by Christina Lauren!
This isn't my favorite opening line, but I did want to continue reading after! I'm not familiar with the geography of Hollywood, but maybe I'll get a better feel for it by reading the book!
Friday 56!
I haven't gotten to this part of the book yet, but from the page I've skimmed, it seems like the two protagonists are hugging and Evie is trying to keep her thoughts strictly PG despite their apparent chemistry.
Have you read anything by Christina Lauren? What did you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another post!
Happy Reading!

Hi Genni! Lovely to meet you. I love the 2nd quote! You know the moment you say that, you do lol
ReplyDeleteHere is mine this week: http://bit.ly/Fri56Tooth
Have a lovely weekend! x
Hi Sassy Brit! It's great to meet you too! Haha yes, by the time a character thinks that, you know thoughts have raced through her mind already. :)
DeleteI'll be sure to visit! You too. :)
Oh this looks good! I've heard good things about the author and have this one on my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying it! I think I like Roomies a bit more, but I'm still have a really fun time. I hope you enjoy the author duo!
DeleteLOL at the mantra for the 56. Sounds like a great read! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes!! Once I saw that on page 56, I couldn't resist. :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy the book. It is new to me. This week I have a book that has been on TBR mountain way too long - A Rumor of Bones by Beverly Connor. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy! It's new to me as well. I read Roomies by Christina Lauren this week, and just felt the need to read more from the author!
DeleteI hope you're enjoying it! I'll make sure to visit your post. Happy reading to you too! :)
Friday 56 and the Book Beginning are interesting. Don't know why the winding road is necessary.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tea!
DeleteI love the quote about not thinking dirty thoughts, lol! The only book I've read by these two is Autoboyography. It wasn't until I listened to the author bit at the end that I realized Christina was one person and Lauren was another. Autoboyogprahy was a blast, though. My cheeks would hurt from smiling so much!

L @ Do You Dog-ear?
Haha, yes, it's hilarious! One of my friends has read Christina Lauren before, so she told me about how they are two people, but I don't think I would've figured it out so quickly on my own. I want to read Autoboyography sometime soon, but I'm recently in the mood for some adult romance. That's so great to hear that you liked it! I haven't heard too many people talking about it!
DeleteThank you so much Lindsi! Checking out your blog and following back. :D
